PITCH PR
Public relations is a game. Right now, you're playing all the positions on the field and every shot you take is a slog. You definitely want the post-game press conference, but reporters don't stick around to talk.
There are two key positions on a team that can help up your game. For a quick win, you need pinch hitter. To teach you how to build a season-long strategy, you need a coach.
I work with authors, artists, entrepreneurs, and small businesses to build a winning PR game
Because:
- You need a playbook to make your PR work easier
- You’re a writer, but not that kind of writer
- You don’t want to send your news into the void
- You want to do media interviews, but aren’t comfortable talking with reporters
- You don’t have time to waste
Here’s how this works
STEP 1: PICK A PATH
Do you need some face time or would you rather just get it off your plate? Schedule your hour-long training or AMA session OR choose your “do it for me” package and fill in the details.
STEP 2: GET SHIT DONE
We have an in-depth face-to-face session OR you sit back and let me do the thing.
STEP 3: SPREAD THE WORD
You’re ready with everything you need to go after earned media coverage!

What's with all the sportsball?
HEY, I'M SARAH.
I spent over two decades working in the federal government and nonprofit sectors. I bounced back and forth between public policy and strategic communications, ending up in the sweet spot where I got to shape science and technology programs by figuring out how to communicate them to the public, the media, and Congress.
I also spent every Thursday or Friday night growing up watching football from the marching band section in the stands. Or playing in the pep band at high school and college basketball games. (The less said about my ability to *play* sports, the better.)
Sports, like public relations, needs long-term strategies AND fast wins. You have to play through the whole game, but getting points on the scoreboard (or your name in the newspaper) early in the game builds momentum and excitement.
Because I’m a small business owner and a writer, I know how hard it is to play the game. That’s why I’m passionate about working with creative people doing amazing things – my role on your team is to build you up, teach you skills you can use over and over, and help you get some quick wins.
As a creative or small business owner...
You want to focus on writing the book or creating the art or launching your next great product. Hiring a consultant or someone on retainer can be expensive. You need a coach or a pinch hitter, so hit that button and let’s win your PR game.
